Located on the lagoon with a beautiful view We went to the Tahitian oven on a Sunday afternoon.Better to book in advance as always filled and choose the table where you want lunch.
Very welcome and very correct prices. Thanks to ismael for her service and caress to lalou
Do not go there for the mahaa tahiti of Sunday Tourist catch par excellence, no explanation, meal shipped very quickly, we queue up in front of the buffet where you can not really choose .... It's a shame, we was really expecting a culinary and cultural discovery and in addition it is quite expensive.By cons the frame is very pretty!
Very good and Tahitian oven on Sunday!
Best place ever
Stayed at the Hotel Le Mahana next door so we came here a lot. Frankly the food was just okay. Maybe we didn’t have the Sunday feast, but I thought the place was perhaps overrated. Portions were generous, but overall value for money was just average. Cash only.
Sunday, Tahitian meal, efficient buffet service, warm atmosphere, beautiful lagoon edge, all dressed in Polynesian, even the orchestra: I love
Traditional tahitian oven Sunday - to see even if we would like a little more explanation
A delight
Enjoy your meal
Beautiful place! Great local cuisine and heavenly views.
Maa tahiti excellent, opening of the Tahitian oven
Mauruuru for this delicious meal and the welcome 🤘😘
Very good meal at Tara's. We ate fresh fish, grilled tuna.Warm welcome !The prices are correct! The view is magnificent, calm reigns. To advise without hesitation!
Good food but the waitress who welcome to the clients and said your place was horrible. The last point she ask me to pay during we are eating our meal !! They need to lay off her !
Very good appetizer before departure
Great, great food, good music and great atmosphere! Be sure to stay there for several hours! Nice to snorkel in front.
Beautiful kitchen and staff!
Postcard and divine raw fish
We went on a Sunday. It was good. It is a different experience because of the typical songs that accompany it, and food that one will never eat again
the place is really good, but the food leaves much to be desired. We ordered a tuna with vanilla sauce that was very old, and a tuna sashimi that looked like it had been cut with a lying knife. Above we arrived a little late 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm they brought us the bill without the possibility of asking for anything else because according to the waitress who was a little retard, they had already closed the restaurant ..... I was a little disappointed.
Enjoyed the Sunday bbq feast. Was a fun afternoon with decent food and good vibes looking out over turquoise blue lagoon
We ate raw fish with lemon and coconut milk, it was very cooked, two hours later I and my wife were having diarrhea. We have eaten the same raw fish in other restaurants and nothing happened to us.
Very good cuisine and at a good price
Stopped here for a drink whilst driving round the island. It was easy to find and nice location. We didn't stop for food as rather pricey compared to other good restaurants on island.
Cooked Polynesian oven on Sunday with orchestra, nice, remember to book ... Just ... Do not wait too much to go to the buffet because they do not call back if you are in the last, more fish or other dish .. ...
Not convinced by this Polynesian meal any explanation.Waiting for drinksWaiting to eatTourist catches.Too bad........
To do once to taste the cuisine in the Polynesian oven. We like it or not, but it's worth it. I did not like everything, but tasted everything.
Good food wonderful view. Tip, Sunday is the day to consider going. They have a big feast that day. Sadly I did not go that day.
Home, frame, kitchen ..... very very well.
Good meals ... Service a bit long
We visited on sunday for the traditional buffet lunch and the food was amazing! The atmosphere is also great, with musicians and friendly travelers from all over the island mingling
Great location, but the food is very mediocre. The Lonely Planet reviews it as the best restaurant on the island, but they probably changed the chef. We have not been on Sunday, so the judgment is partial, but the shrimp sauteed garlic were full of glutamate and with frozen shrimp and raw fish with coconut I did best on the first try.
Very good. An idyllic view by the sea.
Nice local place. Sunday reservation is really necessary. Good food. Be there on Sunday at 11am to see how the earth oven is opened.
Local flair
Lovely place for a drink, but we were a bit put off by the fact that they wouldn't serve a 2nd happy hour drink, claiming that it was past 6.30pm, when it clearly was well before 6.30. And the head waitress was quite stubborn and not very friendly. Very disappointing to experience this.
We loved it
Ask the crabs if they have any because it's worth the trip. Idyllic setting!
We went on Sunday to try the famous buffet or fixed price (35 euros per person) and a wide selection of dishes. It was a total disappointment: the dishes were all minced and a mixture of chicken, pork and beef; fish was dry and the whole thing looked like leftovers from previous buffets.
Beautiful location. Very authentic vibe. Smiling and charming hostesses. Interesting for the traditional preparation of the food but not a refined kind of food. A little over priced if you eat little like we did. Better to go in with an appetite and buffet attitude. Would recommend anyway.
